How payments work
Depaper is free to use for individuals. Organisations pay a monthly plan to list their workflows and receive submissions. Here is everything you need to know.
For individuals filling in workflows
Using Depaper to find and complete workflows costs nothing.
Always free for workflow fillers
Creating an account, searching workflows, filling them in, and submitting them is completely free. Your profile and submission history are also stored at no cost.
Do I need to pay to use workflows on Depaper?
No. Finding, filling in, and submitting workflows on Depaper is completely free for individuals. You will never be charged to complete a workflow or to save your submission history.
Are there any hidden fees for workflow fillers?
No. Depaper does not charge workflow fillers any fees at any point in the submission process. The platform is funded by the organisations that list their workflows with us.
Do organisations charge me directly through Depaper?
No. Depaper does not process payments between you and organisations. If an organisation charges fees for a service related to a workflow (for example, a government application fee), that is handled entirely outside of Depaper — we only facilitate the workflow submission.

What is included in the monthly plan price?
Each plan includes a set number of active workflows and a monthly submission quota. Going above the quota incurs an overage rate per additional submission. All plans include workflow digitisation, email submission delivery, and a dashboard.
Can I change plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. The Depaper team will contact you to manage plan transitions.
How does billing work?
Billing is monthly and managed directly between your organisation and the Depaper team. Invoice-based billing is available for all plans. Enterprise organisations can negotiate annual contract pricing.
Is there a free trial?
The Depaper team reviews all onboarding applications manually. During the review period before your workflows go live, there is no charge. Once your workflows are published and the plan is active, billing begins.
No payment data is stored on Depaper
Depaper does not store any payment card or banking information. Organisation billing is handled through invoicing managed by the Depaper team directly. If you have billing questions, contact billing@Depaper.co.za.
